Hey you, fat old men, leave nuns alone in their really Christian service to humanity. Follow their example, shut up and go and fix your male-priest horrible problems!

Let us stop him/them

June 15, 2011

How idiotic to see this bunch of Republicans basing all and only their actions in attacking our President; to see a flip-flopper like Mitt Romney basing his actions in demolishing the only good thing he did in his life, the signing of the exemplary Massachusetts Health Reform, is appalling.

NOMENCLATURE OF 2008 Influenza A (H1N1)

May 5, 2010

In yesterday’s NPR’s Morning Edition piece, “Amid Food And Car Parts, Swap Meet Offers Flu Shots”, the reporter insists on using the terminology “swine fever” that has only confused the issue up to know. The WHO’s official name is 2008 Influenza A (H1N1)

[http://trendsupdates.com/influenza-a-h1n1-new-and-official-name-of-swine-flu-virus-according-to-the-who]]. the formerly apellatives, Mexican and Swine are not correct: As we know very well by know “Mexican” (it is not so) or “swine” (it is not so, or at least it is not only) are subjective terms that affect peoples and or reactions by people. Do you remember the massive slaughtering of swine in Egypt, a Muslim country where only Christians consume pork? It is when diseases become political diseases which a way to avoid and/or confuse the issues. I refer you to my book, “Larvatus prodeo, The Interview” [http://books.google.com/books?id=mEcW8-kUEesC&printsec=frontcover&dq=Larvatus+prodeo,+The+Interview&source=bl&ots=EImICWnEWo&sig=BmknZXbkfAxGErjUO4NnC_KrOHg&hl=en&ei=XCLgS_ShGIyK8wTM-s23CQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CAgQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false], now being prepared for its 2010 2nd. edition.

COMMENTING ON NEWSWEEK’s This Won’t Hurt a Bit By Sharon Begley Mar. 5, 2010

March 18, 2010

This is an excellent summary, but summary only, of the horrors of unnecessary medical procedures. The premise that “we have the best medicine in the world” as republicans proclaimed in the Blair House summit, is changed by this article unto “best invasive medicine in the world”, perhaps. One of the most unnecessary and overused procedure with enormous costs and social consequences that was left behind, though, is the enormous number of elective cesarean operations. They may be prestigious to obstetricians who become de facto surgeons and money makers, to themselves and their hospitals. But they increase costs and eliminate unnecessarily a natural procedure, a desirable participation of women in their own destiny, and dampens the acquisition of an extremely valuable skill, which midwives have, amongst physicians and nurses.

The Un-Christian Damning Of Haiti

January 25, 2010

My remarks below derive from my having worked and lived in the Caribbean and several countries in Africa, particularly Angola and Mozambique.  Also my remarks are based on my being a Christian in the tradition of Jesus-Christ with respect for all and for the truth.

Voodoo stereotyping is racist, obsolete and based on untruthful statements and ideas. Thus to damn a country, the first democratic attempt in the whole of the Latin America sub-continent, and the first African American attempt to eliminate slavery, and successful at that and in itself another reason for its damning by some, is unacceptable, not charitable and un-Christian. Most of all is NOT TRUE.

NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO’s (MR) Nov 12’2009 on Walmart
Listened through 90.1FM, Greenville SC
I was flabbergasted to listen to this NPR analysis on WalMart’s (I refuse to call it by any other name than WM) recent report on enormous profits; it went on and on without ever mentioning the horrendous effects of WM’s commercial and trade strategies unto the basic economics and labor of the USA. NPR, we depend on you to give us in the USA probably the only remaining objective balance report on the news, good and bad news.

government with mostly the same leaders was called “The People’s
Republic of Angola” and technically communist and supported by Castro?
